For Elacin, Before Mars offered a way to make this dynamic visible.

Participants were immersed in a simulation where collaboration, information sharing and strategic decision-making were central. Teams had to deal with deadlines, limited resources and changing conditions. As in many real organisations, there is not always one perfect solution. You have to choose, adjust and keep communicating.

Before Mars works well in this context because the team does not listen to an explanation of collaboration, they experience it. Who takes the overview? Who focuses on quick wins? Who shares information in time? And how do you keep the shared goal in sight when everyone is busy with their own task?

The activity remains playful and energetic, while still offering enough substance to discuss afterwards. Not as a heavy management training, but as a shared experience that brings out recognisable patterns.
