When should you go competitive?
Go competitive when your group gets a buzz from a scoreboard: at a kick-off, after a busy period or during a conference. If there is already tension in the team, or people quickly feel judged, a format with one shared goal usually works better. We come to your office or venue, indoors or outdoors. Game materials and facilitation are handled by Moodmaker. You choose how much tension you want; we keep it playful.

And if a team gets truly stuck in Code Crackers, our facilitators step in so it stays enjoyable for everyone. Want to bring the group back together at the end? Start with small teams competing against each other and finish with one shared challenge. After Cake Factory, a short debrief can also follow if you want one.

Good to know before you choose.
For large groups, look at Detour (90 to 120 minutes, 50 to 1,000 people), Citygame 100 Coins (60 to 120 minutes, 10 to 1,000 people) or At the Races (30 to 60 minutes, 50 to 500 people). Smaller groups can also choose Cake Factory (10 to 120 people) or Code Crackers (15 to 200 people). Tell us how many participants you expect and we will help you choose.
It depends on the activity. At the Races takes 30 to 60 minutes and works well as a post-work activity or a fun addition to a conference. Citygame 100 Coins takes 60 to 120 minutes; Cake Factory, Detour and Code Crackers 90 to 120 minutes. The Highland Games (120 to 180 minutes) and Soap Box Grand Prix (150 to 210 minutes), where teams first build a soapbox and then race it, need more time.
Both. Indoors, choose from Cake Factory, Detour, Code Crackers and At the Races; for those we come to your office, a meeting room or an event venue. Outdoors, there are the Highland Games, Soap Box Grand Prix and Citygame 100 Coins, a tactical GPS game in which small teams explore the city with a tablet.
No. The Highland Games deliberately mix physical trials with less physical ones, so everyone can contribute. Code Crackers and Detour revolve around thinking, choosing and discussing, and in At the Races you decide on tactics and bets together. If a team gets truly stuck in Code Crackers, our facilitators step in so it stays enjoyable for everyone.
Not always. If there is already tension within the team, departments are positioned against each other or people quickly feel judged, a highly competitive format can have the opposite effect.
