Team building at La Hagoulle in Houtain-le-Val, Charleroi

Ten minutes from Nivelles, in Houtain-le-Val (part of Genappe, Walloon Brabant), stands Ferme de la Hagoulle: a 16th-century square farm whose barn has been fully renovated. Marl rubble and red brick give the hall its warmth, while large glazed bays let the light in. Brussels, Namur, Charleroi and Mons are half an hour away. The barn covers 480 m² over two levels and seats 50 to 350 guests. Behind the old walls lies an enclosed garden, and from April to October a large nomad tent covers the terrace. Coffee, lunch and dinner come from the venue's own caterer, and the car park holds 200 cars. That mix of indoors and outdoors suits team building that runs through the whole day. On the terrace, Connections breaks the ice; then, in the barn, Cake Factory has you run a bakery you organise a little smarter with each round. To close the day, a Live Muziekquiz with live musicians brings the group together around the tables.
