Château de Thieusies
Thieusies, Mons
Read more →In Havré, part of the city of Mons, stands one of the oldest and most prestigious castles in our heritage. Château d'Havré was largely rebuilt before 1423, and its restored rooms keep that medieval atmosphere tangible without becoming uncomfortable. The castle is surrounded by 6,000 m² of flower gardens. The scale is flexible: three connecting rooms, from the intimate Boulangerie for 30 people through the Salle gothique (50) to the Salle d'armes for 180 guests, used separately or combined. You choose your own caterer, with no corkage fee, and the estate has room for 150 cars. In good weather the day moves outdoors, ideal for Highland Games with sturdy, playful team challenges in the open air. Indoors you set up a Chain Reaction in the Salle d'armes, where your team builds one large chain reaction together and every part has to line up with the next. Havré shines for a team building with character, or for an event that should make an impression, with historic walls as the backdrop.
