Read more →Watt17 in Heusden-Zolder is a former power station that now works as an event venue. Its industrial character has stayed, right down to the room names: Volt, Ampère, Ohm and the Controlekamer. That raw setting gives a group energy from the start. Its strength is scale. Inside there are nine spaces, from a 25 m² meeting room to the 1,200 m² Bovengrond hall for 875 people, and outside lies a 20,000 m² event square. The spaces can be combined, so a plenary opening, breakouts and an evening programme all fit on one site. Choose Watt17 for a team building with a large group that wants to work both indoors and outdoors. In the hall, the work of every team grows into one Chain Reaction, on the square you race a home-built soapbox in the Soapbox Grand Prix, and in the evening live musicians run the Live Muziekquiz. Parking is free and the E313 and E314 motorways are close by, which helps when your team comes from all over Flanders.
