Team building at Wijnkasteel Genoels-Elderen in Riemst, Hasselt

Since 1991, Wijnkasteel Genoels-Elderen in Riemst has made wine from 22 hectares of vineyards around the castle. The estate has a park, its own wine cellars and, from May to August, a terrace in the rose garden inside the castle walls. Your team day starts in a setting nobody knows from the office. A team building that mixes meeting each other with time outdoors works well here. Connections is a short warm-up where you get to know colleagues through challenges and selfies. In Snap the Moment you come up with a story and shoot it frame by frame as a stop-motion film, and at the Highland Games clans take each other on in Scottish trials in the open air. Then it is time for the wine: a guided tour of the vineyards and cellars, ending with a tasting. Private tours run in Dutch, English, French or German, which suits an international team. On weekdays the castle receives visitors by appointment, so fix your date in good time.
