Château de la Poste
Maillen, Namur
Read more →Terra Nova is the former barracks on the Citadel of Namur, built under Dutch rule to house 1,200 soldiers. Today it holds the visitor centre and three multipurpose rooms with a bar, a professional kitchen and a terrace overlooking Namur. The largest room takes up to 120 people, and you are free to choose your own caterer. That size suits team building for a group of up to 120 colleagues who want to mix indoors and outdoors. Inside, each team designs its own stretch of the Chain Reaction, or you develop your own island in Archipelago, amid the buzz of a stock exchange. For an outdoor part with Highland Games or the Soap Box Grand Prix, we check with the Citadel beforehand which grounds are available. The site adds a layer of its own. You can round off the programme with a guided tour of the underground passages or a beer tasting, and anyone who fancies it can ride the cable car up from the town.
