Ferme de Mehaignoul
La Bruyère, Namur
Read more →Domaine de Lonzée in Gembloux brings three worlds together: a château, a modern orangery and a 19-hectare park with a pond, meadows and woodland. Namur is ten minutes away, Brussels forty. The Orangery is the estate's workhorse. Its 450 m² main hall seats up to 280 or holds 800 standing, and movable partitions divide it into smaller spaces for workshops. A 200 m² terrace and a 150 m² stretch tent add room when the weather turns. The château has two salons and a large dining room for up to 85 people, handy for a board of directors or a training day. For team building, the park takes centre stage. Team-built soapboxes speed across the meadows in the Soap Box Grand Prix, or the teams turn into Scottish clans for Highland Games. Afterwards everyone heads into the Orangery, where each group's contraption becomes one link in a single Chain Reaction. That way you go from a morning seminar to an active afternoon without anyone changing venue.
